The Sandy Hook Memorial Concert is a non profit organization from Berklee College of Music students. We are Sandy Hook and we choose to love! Our first aim to remember (not to forget) our children who died in Sandy Hook Elementary School. The compositions that The Berklee College of Music students will play are composed for this tragedy. We feel that they are our children we feel that we are that children..
ALL THE WORLD WRITING NEW PIECES
We don’t want to use old songs. Our goal is to write new pieces for the kids.. We’ll write with feeling, sadness and stirring .. We thought why should only Berklee students join this project? Our goal is to send a message to the world. We can open this project to the entire the world. We opened an application for new pieces . You can watch that videoö there is all information about shooting, children names , photos . And all the young composers can write a piece and apply from their countries for this project. This will still be a Berklee Students Project, as we will choose 6-7 pieces from all applications and Berklee Students will play those pieces for kids in Newtown.
